Sustainability at TUI Cruises

TUI Cruises relies on a modern cruise fleet and is implementing concrete measures in ship operations and across its supply chain. These include, among other things, the use of low-emission fuels such as bio-LNG on selected vessels, exhaust after-treatment systems like SCR catalytic converters, the use of shore power while docked in many ports, and modern onboard facilities for wastewater treatment and waste separation.

Setting the course!

With the fleets of Mein Schiff® and Hapag-Lloyd Cruises, we continually discover the world anew.

In doing so, we constantly refine our cruise offerings and have firmly embedded sustainability into our corporate strategy.

Through our Sustainability Strategy 2030, we define goals and measures across the areas of environment (planet), social responsibility (people), and corporate governance (progress). These include, among other things, technical solutions for emission reduction, more efficient and resource-conserving operational processes, and measures implemented along our supply chains. For us, sustainability means systematically integrating ecological, social, and economic aspects into our processes and reporting transparently on our progress.
