As part of the training programme, you can expect a wide variety of activities, such as going on bridge watches and working in various departments on board. You will take on project work independently, from research and structured development to documentation. Regular presentations of your training progress to the Staff Captain and meetings to discuss the next steps will encourage you to take the initiative and give you valuable feedback.

You have already completed at least five months of seagoing service as a deck cadet and have a valid seaworthiness certificate as well as a basic safety course. Certificates such as guard qualification, AFF or PSCRB are an advantage, as is a valid C1D visa. Technical skills, intercultural competence and enjoyment in dealing with passengers as well as a very good command of German and English round off your profile.

You can look forward to a training contract directly with TUI Cruises GmbH, including statutory social insurance (if you live in Germany). You will be part of an international, open team and can discover the most beautiful places in the world in your free time. In addition to free board and lodging on board, you benefit from exclusive crew areas on board such as a fitness centre and events. Your arrival and departure will also be organised and taken care of.
