Become part of the hospital team

As a qualified nurse or emergency paramedic, you will ensure that everything runs smoothly as a nurse in the Hospital. You support the medical team during treatments and in emergency situations you always keep a cool head and act quickly and professionally. You will also manage the on-board pharmacy and analyse samples in the laboratory, evaluate results and document them accurately.

As part of the Hospital team, you will provide qualified medical care for the passengers and crew on board and ensure that the administrative processes in the Hospital run smoothly. With your structured and conscientious way of working, your emphatic nature and your commitment, you will complement and support the team on board. The position of Medical Assistant is based in the Hospital on board the Mein Schiff Relax.

You will be responsible for the medical care of passengers and crew - both during office hours and on call. In addition, you will take on administrative tasks and be the first point of contact for the captain in medical matters, hygiene standards, emergencies and disembarkation. As an officer, you are ready to integrate yourself into the shipboard hierarchy and make a valuable contribution to the smooth running of the ship with your intercultural sensitivity.
