For the past ten years, she has been ensuring that guests on board the Mein Schiff fleet enjoy special moments of relaxation – and now she is to be the naming ambassador of the newest TUI Cruises vessel: Giuliana Rizzo, SPA & Sport Manager of Mein Schiff Relax.
“The entire Mein Schiff fleet stands for well-being and relaxation – values I embody in my work every day. It’s a great honour for me to be the naming ambassador of Mein Schiff Relax,” says the German-Italian native, who comes from the Hanover region. Giuliana Rizzo began working as a beautician on Mein Schiff 3 in 2015 and has since held various positions in the spa area before taking over as Spa & Sport Manager in 2019.
“The Mein Schiff fleet means a great deal to me. The sea is my home, and the crew are like a family – not least because I met my partner here, who also works on board as Head of Sports,” explains Giuliana.
The official launch of Mein Schiff Relax will take place on 9 April in Malaga. Alongside the sister ships Mein Schiff 5 and Mein Schiff 7, the event will also feature a concert by international superstar and Mein Schiff Relax feel-good ambassador Robbie Williams.
With this eighth feel-good ship, TUI Cruises is embarking on a new chapter in the premium cruise sector. Mein Schiff Relax is the first ship in the new InTUItion class, which will be joined by Mein Schiff Flow in 2026. Both new vessels set new standards and allow guests to “rediscover a sense of well-being”. Mein Schiff Relax, for example, offers many new wellness highlights: the exclusive barrel sauna on Deck 19 provides guests with perfect relaxation while they enjoy stunning views. Another brand-new feature is an exclusive cold chamber for cryotherapy treatments, which, with temperatures as low as –110 degrees, aids recovery, weight loss and skin rejuvenation. The multi-award-winning and extensive range of offers comprising massages, therapies and beauty treatments is also available to guests on this eighth ship in a fresh and relaxing atmosphere.
