TUI Cruises celebrates the ceremonial launch of Mein Schiff Flow with an inaugural cruise and live acts by Rea Garvey and Tim Bendzko

In line with the motto “Go with the Flow”, the second ship in the InTUItion class – Mein Schiff Flow – will be transformed into a festival stage at sea. The eight-day inaugural cruise, running from 17/18 June to 25/26 June 2026, combines the ceremonial launch of the ship off the coast of Trieste with a curated programme of music, cuisine, art and activity. Highlights include live performances by Rea Garvey on 19 June and Tim Bendzko on 20 June – the day of the ceremonial launch.

Just as the InTUItion class on the whole stands for a cruise experience that is focused on a world of individual relaxation, the launch and the inaugural cruise also reflect the ship’s eponymous “flow”. Rather than as a single event, the ceremonial launch will be spread over several days and various locations on board. The ship itself thus becomes a central part of the experience.

Guests can experience their own “flow” in a completely personalised way during the inaugural cruise. The programme deliberately focuses not only on variety, but also on carefully selected activities characterised by clarity, space and intuition. It’s not about experiencing everything, but about finding what is right for each individual. Yoga and mindfulness sessions with renowned guest experts such as Berenice Seiss and Coco Achinger create space for tranquillity and renewed energy. Art aficionados can witness first-hand how the artist Christian Awe creates a large-scale artwork on board Mein Schiff Flow.

The inaugural cruise also offers special culinary highlights: Michelin-starred chef Tim Raue and bartender Linh Nguyen will provide exceptional culinary experiences on board. In addition, Jörg Wagner of Wagner fine chocolate specialities will host culinary workshops for guests. The highlights of the cruise will then follow on 19 and 20 June with musical performances and the ceremonial launch off the Bay of Trieste. On 19 June, Irish singer and guitarist Rea Garvey will captivate guests on Mein Schiff Flow with an authentic live performance. On 20 June, German singer-songwriter Tim Bendzko will make his debut on the inaugural cruise. With his best-known song “Muss nur noch kurz die Welt retten” as well as other tracks, he will ensure atmospheric and unforgettable moments on board.

The Mein Schiff Flow experience

Cruise enthusiasts, and anyone hoping to become one, will be able to experience the latest addition to the fleet from 14 June 2026. Ahead of everyone else, guests will have the opportunity to explore the new feel-good ship at length on the pre-cruise and gain their first impressions on board. On the subsequent inaugural cruise, guests can look forward to plenty of thrilling moments on the high seas. And on the first welcome cruise of Mein Schiff Flow, guests will experience a spectacular competition: Lady Amarena by Fabbri1905 will be held live on board – the international competition exclusively for female bartenders, one of the few global platforms specifically designed to promote and showcase female talent in mixology.
