Hamburg, 10 July 2026. In just a few days, TUI Cruises will be writing the next colourful chapter. Together with TUI, the cruise operator is taking part in CSD in Berlin and making a clear commitment to diversity, openness and solidarity. CSD has always stood for the fight for equality, visibility and the rights of the LGBTQAI+ community – values that TUI Cruises actively supports.

TUI Cruises celebrates diversity

TUI Cruises also takes a clear stand beyond the cruises it offers: the company already collaborates with the Rainbow Festival in Cologne and will continue this partnership in 2027. In doing so, TUI Cruises highlights what the cruise company stands for: equality, visibility and solidarity with the LGBTQAI+ community. This year, for the first time, the cruise line will be represented at Berlin’s CSD alongside TUI with its own truck.

With the return of the Rainbow Cruise in 2027 and its ongoing commitment to respectful coexistence, TUI Cruises is making its position clear: diversity is and will remain an integral part of the company’s culture and its core values.

Numerous queer personalities and key figures – who will also be taking part in next year’s Rainbow Cruise – promise an electric atmosphere on the truck. Among those participating are the team from Berlin’s PiepShow, David Modjarad and Kena Amoa from RTL Exclusiv, professional handball player Lucas Krzikalla, the hosts of the schwarz & eng podcast, Schlager star Daniel Johnson, DJane Xandra as well as the influencer couple Domenic and Jonathan Osterroth. Also represented are the Nomadic Boys, who are among the best-known international LGBTQAI+ travel content creators, the German-Dutch LGBTQAI+ travel blogger duo Couple of Men, comprising Karl Krause and Daan Colijn, and Tom Dewulf from the Piano Buddies.*

A queer festival on board Mein Schiff 2

The five-day event cruise “Rainbow Cruise: the next chapter – A future of unity” will take place on board Mein Schiff 2 from 28 September to 3 October 2027. Departing from and returning to Palma de Mallorca, the ship will call at two particularly scenic Mediterranean destinations – Palermo in Sicily and Cagliari in Sardinia.

Alongside previously announced highlights such as Conchita Wurst and No Angels member Lucy Diakovska, SEXY PARTY COLOGNE – another true original from the first Rainbow Cruise in 2017 – is returning on board. As one of the leading international event brands in queer nightlife, THE WORLD OF SEXY stands for high-energy party nights, international DJs, spectacular visuals and a unique atmosphere. As the headliner DJ for the exclusive on-board party, Micky Friedmann will ensure an unforgettable night at sea with his signature sound. For years, SEXY PARTY COLOGNE has been an integral part of the international Pride and festival scene and will also turn the next chapter of the Rainbow Cruise into an extraordinary experience with an exclusive party.

Gina de l’Amore will provide top-class entertainment with a good dose of humour. The live comedy and drag entertainer has been wowing audiences on international stages – from Las Vegas to Broadway – for more than 25 years. With impressive live vocals and sophisticated, sharp-witted humour, she never fails to make her audience laugh. She is known for appearing in four rounds of auditions on The Voice of Germany, for appearances on programmes such as RTL Supertalent and at the Pulverfass in Hamburg as well as for winning the 2019 Schlagermove talent competition.

Fans of house, pop and techno will also be in for a real treat during the cruise. DLVN, aka dragandok (@dragandok), brings high-energy DJ sets with an international flair. Born in Vienna and with roots in the Balkans, he not only blends diverse musical influences, but also has a keen sense for creating the perfect sound at just the right moment. Together with his partner Chris (@blondhair.dontcare), he has a large community in the German-speaking countries. DLVN thrills audiences with powerful beats, a strong stage presence and a sound that sweeps the crowd along from the first to the very last minute of the cruise.

The line-up is rounded off by DJane Nightingale. She is known for her high-energy sets, in which rousing techno, electronic sounds and iconic pop hits from the 1990s to the 2000s blend into an unmistakable mix. Her sound is complemented by her own productions in the trance and techno genres – her music conveys freedom, community and pure joie de vivre.
