Mein Schiff Relax presents it F&B offering: a culinary journey of the highest calibre

Mein Schiff Relax, the latest feel-good ship in the Mein Schiff fleet, invites guests on a spectacular journey of culinary indulgence. With a total of 14 restaurants and bistros as well as 17 bars and lounges, the ship offers an unprecedented variety of gastronomic experiences that turn every cruise into a culinary journey of discovery. Whether its fine haute cuisine, down-to-earth classics or impressive dining packages – on board, culinary delights are celebrated at the very highest level. A particular highlight is the new exclusive restaurant – Fugu by Tim Raue – which combines Far Eastern delicacies with the latest technology to create an innovative dining experience. Another special feature of the new vessel is that most restaurants either have an integrated bar or one in the immediate vicinity, where guests can enjoy an aperitif or round off the day after their meal with premium cocktails or long drinks.

Despite the ship’s larger size, the personal sense of well-being on board remains unchanged. The seating capacity in the restaurants, for example, has been adjusted to the number of guests to ensure that a relaxing atmosphere continues to prevail. The exclusive restaurants are not all located in one area of the ship’s stern, but are spread across various decks. This decentralised approach allows for a better distribution of guests across the different areas.

Exclusive restaurant: Fugu by Tim Raue

Fugu by Tim Raue invites guests on a remarkable culinary journey in which they can experience Far Eastern cuisine in a new way and with all their senses: the restaurant combines a five-course menu of Japanese specialities, created by Michelin-starred chef Tim Raue, with the latest technology to deliver an innovative dining experience. Directly opposite Fugu is the Street Art Bar, furnished in an industrial style and decorated with graffiti. In addition to the included drinks menu, guests can enjoy sushi variations and signature dishes by Tim Raue – such as wasabi prawns or tuna pizza – at an additional cost.

Atlantik restaurant with a new location and its own bar

The main restaurant Atlantik, which spans two decks, now features a location at the stern in response to guests’ requests. As well as the outstanding cuisine, guests can enjoy stunning views here. The integrated bar, open during the day and in the evening, is another highlight. It boasts an extraordinary and harmonious design with beautiful furnishings, inviting guests to relax and while away some time.

New culinary experiences

If guests wish to treat themselves to something special during their cruise with Mein Schiff Relax, they will find exactly what they’re looking for in the speciality restaurants and exclusive bars. Those who prefer something particularly exclusive will find a unique venue in the new Captain’s Bar on Deck 16 above the bridge, serving first-class signature drinks that are an absolute highlight not only in terms of taste but also visually – enhanced by panoramic sea views through huge floor-to-ceiling windows spanning two decks. Right next door, the Scandinavian-inspired Høfde entices guests with high-quality fish and meat dishes as well as an exclusive breakfast menu.

Chalet, which combines Alpine cuisine from France, Austria and Switzerland, is also new on board Mein Schiff Relax. Chalet is an exclusive restaurant, which also features an included bar – a combination that is a first for the Mein Schiff fleet: throughout the day and in the evening, guests are treated to the Mein Schiff fleet’s included bar menu at the Chalet Bar.

On Deck 5, in the ship’s atrium, guest feedback has also been incorporated into two new concepts: French savoir-vivre is on offer at the included Sur Mer Bistrot, with its typical Parisian cafe atmosphere, whilst opposite is a place to enjoy one of the most popular holiday cuisines on board: Greek specialities are served at Taverna Dionysos. In both restaurants, meals can be enjoyed al fresco in the open-air outdoor areas.

The Harbour Market buffet restaurant on Deck 16 offers international specialities from morning until late. Right next door, Osteria – Pizza e Pasta serves Italian classics with table service both at lunchtime and in the evening.

Guests can savour the diversity of the world at the new Mein Schiff – Bar & Bistro in the atrium on Deck 4. In a setting inspired by the colours on the world, snacks and meals from various cultures are served round the clock – including currywurst, a favourite amongst night owls. In the popular adjoining bar, the included drinks menu is also available round the clock.

For coffee lovers, the Barista Bar is located on Deck 3 of the new feel-good ship. Here, guests can enjoy high-quality coffee and chocolate specialities in a relaxed atmosphere. D4 – Club & Lounge transforms into a club late at night, while, during the day, it serves an extensive selection of included drinks in a laid-back lounge ambience.
