Whether ringing in the new year with a spectacular fireworks display off the coast of Madeira or escaping the winter chill for sunshine in Jamaica, Lisbon or Cape Town, guests can look forward to unforgettable moments on board the Mein Schiff fleet in winter 2027/28.

In the winter 2027/28 season, Mein Schiff 1 to Mein Schiff 7 as well as Mein Schiff Relax will be sailing the world’s oceans, offering unique cruise experiences to both regular guests and those new to the world of cruises. A wide range of destinations are in store, including Barbados and the ABC islands in the Caribbean, Stockholm, Bergen, Cape Town and Thailand. Cruises with the Mein Schiff fleet for winter 2027/28 will be available to book shortly.

Caribbean flair with Mein Schiff 1, Mein Schiff 3 and Mein Schiff 4

Mein Schiff 1 will be exploring the Caribbean during winter 2027/28. It will begin its 12- or 19-day cruise from Bayonne (New York), USA, and sail via Miami and Puerto Rico towards the ABC Islands. Sailing to and from La Romana, Mein Schiff 1 will call at destinations including St Thomas, Tortola and St Maarten.

Mein Schiff 3 will spend the winter on 14-day cruises from and to La Romana as well as from and to Montego Bay. After leaving its cruising area for the summer, it will set sail from Palma (Mallorca) towards Central America. From there, the feel-good ship will head for destinations such as Jamaica, the Dominican Republic, Mexico, Costa Rica and Colombia, before setting sail in the spring again for Gran Canaria and, via Morocco, back to the Mediterranean to Palma (Mallorca).

As the third ship in the fleet, Mein Schiff 4 will also spend the 2027/28 winter season in the Caribbean. Here, it will sail from and to La Romana in the Dominican Republic as well as from and to Bridgetown (Barbados), calling at destinations such as Saint Lucia, Martinique and Antigua.

Long time (no) sea – Mein Schiff 2 starts its winter season from/to northern Germany

Guests wishing to embark on nautical discoveries departing from Germany can look forward to cruises to and from Bremerhaven and Kiel during the winter season. From there, the ship will set sail for the Caribbean, the Canary Islands and the North Cape.

On its first cruise, destinations such as Spain, Portugal and France are on the itinerary, followed by a cruise to the North Cape – before it’s off to atmospheric destinations including Stockholm, Bergen and Alesund from/to Kiel during the Advent season. On New Year’s Eve, guests can then marvel at the spectacular fireworks display off the coast of Madeira. Another highlight on board Mein Schiff 2 is its extended Caribbean cruise. Over a period of 35 days, the unforgettable experience takes guests from Bremerhaven via Gran Canaria to nine Caribbean islands and finally back to northern Europe with a stop in Madeira. This is a special cruise for anyone who wants to enjoy an extended time at sea.

Sunshine in South Africa with Mein Schiff 5

From November 2027, Mein Schiff 5 will offer the ideal opportunity to explore numerous destinations across the African continent for the first time throughout the winter. It will sail regularly between Cape Town and Mauritius on 14-day cruises. Guests can look forward to discovering destinations such as Gqeberha (formerly Port Elizabeth), Durban, Richards Bay and the impressive volcanic island of La Réunion as well as the coastal region of Namibia on the repositioning cruise.

Discovering Asia with Mein Schiff 6

From mid October, Mein Schiff 6 will set sail from the port of Palma (Mallorca). From there, the itinerary first leads through the Strait of Gibraltar and on to the impressive volcanic island of Lanzarote. The ship will then set course for Praia, the capital of the Cape Verde Islands, before crossing the Atlantic and continuing on to South Africa. Afterwards, Mein Schiff 6 will set off for its next major destination: Asia.

On two-week cruises, guests can discover an astounding variety of Asian cities and cultures, including Singapore, Thailand, Malaysia and Vietnam, among others. In the spring, Mein Schiff 6 will continue its voyage of discovery through the Far East, visiting a host of fascinating ports before reaching Hong Kong.

Exploring the Canary Islands with Mein Schiff 7 and Mein Schiff Relax

Both Mein Schiff 7 and Mein Schiff Relax will depart from Hamburg at the end of October 2027, heading for the Canary Islands. Mein Schiff 7 begins its cruise with a varied itinerary along the European Atlantic coast. It first calls at charming ports in France, Spain and Portugal, where guests can enjoy western European charm, historic old towns and culinary highlights.

From there, the ship will set course for its main cruising area, the Atlantic islands: Gran Canaria, Madeira, Tenerife and Fuerteventura.

From November to March, guests on the seven-day cruises can look forward to particularly diverse island-hopping experiences. Alongside classics like Lanzarote, La Gomera and La Palma, the itinerary also includes destinations such as Morocco, the Azores and the Cape Verde Islands.

Mein Schiff Relax, the first ship in the InTUItion class, also heads to the Canary Islands, offering guests an unparalleled sense of well-being both on board and at the diverse ports of call along its itineraries.
