More space for well-being: the suite concept of the InTUItion ship class

With the InTUItion class of ships, TUI Cruises has pursued a clear goal: to create a cruise experience that is defined not by spectacular individual features, but by space, light, proximity to the sea, and an intuitive feeling of well-being on board. Following the successful commissioning of Mein Schiff Relax, this concept is being consistently continued with its sister ship. Mein Schiff Flow is currently being built at the Fincantieri shipyard in Monfalcone, Italy. And one thing is already clear: both new ships will take the Mein Schiff feel-good experience to a whole new level.

Suites as retreats - and as an important component of the concept

This approach is particularly evident in the suites of the InTUItion ship class. The five suite categories – from the Junior Suite to the Loft Suite – follow a clear concept: spaciousness, brightness, and a color scheme inspired by the sea, featuring shades of green, blue, and turquoise, create retreats that deliberately convey a sense of calm.

The two Loft Suites are a particular highlight. Covering around 88 square meters spread over two decks, they combine private verandas, separate sleeping areas, two bathrooms, and their own infrared sauna with an unobstructed view of the sea. Large windows reinforce the feeling of space - a central element of the InTUItion concept.

Exclusive areas for moments of relaxation

The suite experience is complemented by clearly defined, exclusive areas. The newly designed suite sundeck on Deck 16 with whirlpool, lounge furniture, sun loungers, and shallow water pool offers opportunities for additional moments of relaxation – deliberately minimalist, quiet, and clearly laid out.

The suite area also focuses on exclusivity without pretension when it comes to cuisine. With the X-Coast on Deck 6 and the X-View Restaurant on Deck 16, suite guests have two retreats at their disposal that combine enjoyment, views, and atmosphere. At X-View, an evening concept featuring Mediterranean cuisine – curated by Michelin-starred chef Theodor Falser – complements the offering. Accessible via the X-Lounge on Deck 7, the beach club-style X-Coast is open all day for relaxed enjoyment in a maritime atmosphere. On Deck 16, the X-View Restaurant offers spacious indoor and outdoor areas as well as an expansive window front that opens up the view of the sea. In the evening, the X-View invites guests to enjoy exclusive dining experiences at sunset.

Experience the ship before the voyage

Even before the trip, Mein Schiff offers a unique, personalized InTUItion experience: guests can take a virtual tour of the suites and exclusive areas via digital 3D tours. An AI avatar guides them through the rooms and gives them a realistic impression of the atmosphere, dimensions, and views - a service that helps them get their bearings and increases their anticipation.
