In spring 2026, Mein Schiff 4, Mein Schiff 5 and Mein Schiff 6 will leave their winter cruising regions on exceptional cruises featuring safari adventures, idyllic sandy beaches and exciting destinations. Mein Schiff 4 begins its journey in Dubai and calls at the dream destinations of the Seychelles, Mauritius and the African mainland. Mein Schiff 5 heads to four coastal cities in Africa: Durban, Gqeberha (formerly Port Elizabeth), Cape Town and Walvis Bay. Departing from Singapore, Mein Schiff 6 will call at Sri Lanka, Mauritius, Réunion, Gqeberha and Cape Town. The combination of days at sea and exciting calls ashore make these adventures a truly special cruise experience. Mein Schiff will be offering these new cruises in spring 2026 after making adjustments to the itineraries of Mein Schiff 4, Mein Schiff 5 and Mein Schiff 6.
Following the winter season in the Middle East, Mein Schiff 4 sets sail from Dubai on its way to Mallorca, from where the feel-good ship will embark on various cruises around the Mediterranean. The ship will cross the Indian Ocean and head to the Seychelles, where it will dock in the capital, Victoria, on the island of Mahé. Mahé, the largest and most diverse island in the archipelago, invites guests to explore and while away some heavenly time. Continuing its cruise, the ship will then set a course for Port Louis, the capital of Mauritius. The next day, it’s off to Réunion, also known as the “island of light”. After a few relaxing days at sea, Mein Schiff 4 calls at a total of three coastal cities in Africa: Gqeberha (formerly Port Elizabeth), Cape Town at the southern tip of Africa and Walvis Bay in Namibia. Via the Cape Verde Islands and the Canary Islands, the ship will finally reach its destination in the Mediterranean.
As the second ship in the fleet, Mein Schiff 5 also sets sail from the Middle East and calls at four different ports in Africa on its way to its summer cruising region. Durban, the best-known city in the province of KwaZulu-Natal on South Africa’s eastern coast, boasts a fantastic long sandy beach and an exotic atmosphere. Mein Schiff 5 will then navigate on to Gqeberha (formerly Port Elizabeth) in Algoa Bay before it finally anchors in Cape Town, where cruise guests will have three whole days to explore the city and the surrounding region along the south-western coast of the continent. After another day at sea, the feel-good ship will head for Walvis Bay. Thanks to an overnight stay on board, guests have the opportunity to spend two entire days discovering the Namibian coast. On its onward journey to the eastern Mediterranean, Mein Schiff 5 will call at Cape Verde, Tenerife, Gibraltar, Mallorca, Sicily, Malta and Piraeus (Athens), before reaching the island of Crete in Greece, from where Mein Schiff 5 will begin its summer season.
On its way to the Mein Schiff 6 summer cruising region, guests can enjoy exciting cruises from Singapore to Palma. Departing from Singapore on the adventure “22 nights – Indian Ocean with Mauritius”, the ship heads for Malaysia after one night on board. Mein Schiff 6 will then call at Hambantota and Colombo in Sri Lanka. The island nation south of India delights cruise guests with breathtaking landscapes and sandy beaches. After a few relaxing days at sea, the ship will anchor in Port Louis, the capital of Mauritius, with its stunning sandy white beaches, lagoons and reefs. This is followed by another stop at a highlight destination: Le Port on the island of Réunion. During the subsequent days at sea, guests have the opportunity to experience all the many amenities of the feel-good ship, discover the world of culinary indulgence and enjoy the extensive spa and sports programme – before Mein Schiff 6 calls at Gqeberha and the dream destination of Cape Town. A breathtaking view from Table Mountain, a safari experience in the game reserve or an excursion to the Cape of Good Hope – Cape Town offers a wide range of options for every guest. From there, the ship will moor at Walvis Bay, where cruise guests have the option of staying overnight on board to explore the city on the Namibian coast. From Walvis Bay, Mein Schiff 6 then sets sail for Cape Verde, from where it continues on to Palma.
