Jeckliner and Jeck im Sunnesching are setting off on a grand voyage together in 2027

• From 24 to 28 September 2027, Mein Schiff 2 will bring the spirit of the Rhineland, major concerts and Sunnesching to the Mediterranean

Hamburg, 22 September 2026. Two successful brands from the music and events scene in Cologne are joining forces for a fantastic time at sea: Jeckliner and Jeck im Sunnesching are becoming Jeckliner im Sunnesching. To bring this to life, TUI Cruises and Gaffel are combining two established formats and jointly taking the successful event cruise to the next level. The idea is to preserve the DNA and strong sense of community that have always defined Jeckliner, while expanding the format with the festival spirit, artist network and fresh programme ideas of Jeck im Sunnesching.

From 24 to 28 September 2027, Mein Schiff 2 will become a crazy festival stage. The four-day cruise departs from Palma (Mallorca) and, following a day at sea, sails to La Seyne near Toulon on the French Côte d’Azur before continuing on to Barcelona and Spain and finally returning to Palma. An outstanding line-up will provide the perfect carnival spirit on board.

Kasalla, one of Germany’s most successful Kölsch rock bands, will make their Jeckliner debut, coming on board in Barcelona for a live performance. Miljö will also be making their first appearance. The line-up is rounded off by acts including Klüngelköpp, Räuber, Druckluft, Eldorado, Planschemalöör, Fiasko and Juli Voyage. The programme brings together established names from the music scene with younger acts as well as several artists who will be joining Jeckliner for the first time.

Comedy and entertainment will also play a major role on the cruise. Herrengedeck, one of the popular live comedy formats, will be coming on board. JP Weber, Martin Schopps and Volker Weininger, aka “Der Sitzungspräsident”, will also perform solo sets. Lukas Wachten will host proceedings on the pool deck, supported by co-host Nico Jansen. Ken Reise will guide audiences through the main show in the ship’s theatre. Several DJs will ensure that the celebrations continue at sea long after the live concerts have ended.
