Guests on board Mein Schiff Flow can look forward to the return of a unique collaboration next year, as the Wine & Culture format will again bring together exceptional wines with inspiring musical and cultural performances in 2027. The programme is set to take place on Mein Schiff Flow, the newest ship in the InTUItion class. Combining contemporary design, spacious public areas and a premium on-board experience, the ship provides the perfect setting for moments of exceptional indulgence. TUI Cruises has entered into a six-year partnership with the renowned Skoff Winery, ensuring guests can enjoy wine and cultural experiences of the highest standard for years to come. At the heart of the collaboration are Walter Skoff, fourth-generation winemaker and owner of the acclaimed Austrian family wine estate Skoff Original, and his wife, Eva Skoff-Liebau, an internationally renowned Austrian soprano and qualified sommelier. Together, they bring their expertise and personal passion on board Mein Schiff Flow, creating a unique programme that harmoniously blends wine, gastronomy and music.

Wine expertise straight from the source

The Skoff Original Winery is one of Styria’s best-known wine estates and pursues a natural, quality-focused approach. The grapes are selectively harvested by hand at the optimal point of ripeness and gently processed; the subsequent ageing on the lees in large oak barrels ensures structure, minerality and balance. The unique conditions in southern Styria – a mild climate, plenty of sunshine and fertile soil – form the basis for the estate’s characterful wines, the quality of which is regularly affirmed with international awards, including at the Concours Mondial du Sauvignon.

A celebration of cuisine and culture at sea

On their cruise across the Mediterranean, guests will enjoy a guided wine tasting with Walter Skoff, during which he will share insights into the origins, style and philosophy behind his wines. The Wine & Culture dinner is another highlight, combining culinary creations with personal stories. Eva Skoff-Liebau provides musical accents with an opera concert in the theatre, and the special atmosphere of Mein Schiff Flow provides the perfect setting for this. An impression that the artist herself describes as follows: “Everything is there. It’s a floating luxury hotel in every sense. Impressive from beginning to end.” Thanks to the collaboration over the next six years, guests can look forward to a new culinary experience on every cruise. The exclusive wine series builds on the joint product L’aria Sauvignon Blanc Ried Oberkranachberg Südsteiermark DAC, which was first presented on board Mein Schiff 7 in February this year. The series comprises six limited-edition Sauvignon Blanc wines from the Oberkranachberg vineyard, spanning the vintages from 2024 to 2029, with just 1,700 bottles produced per vintage – 600 of which are set aside for sale on board the Mein Schiff fleet. Each wine is linked to an emotional aria, sung by Eva Skoff-Liebau, thus giving it a special artistic dimension. In its sixth year, the series will culminate in a concert at which all six arias are presented in combination with the corresponding wines. Furthermore, wine enthusiasts have the opportunity to purchase all six vintages in a strictly limited edition.

In the Flow of the Mediterranean

The programme can be experienced on the cruise from 22 March to 31 March 2027 on board Mein Schiff Flow. Departing from and returning to Palma de Mallorca, the itinerary takes in some of the most culturally and scenically breathtaking destinations in the western Mediterranean. Barcelona unites modern architecture, art and cuisine. La Spezia serves as a starting point for excursions to Tuscany or Cinque Terre, while Ajaccio on Corsica charms visitors with its Mediterranean flair and stunning natural beauty. The cruise ends in Civitavecchia, the gateway to the Italian capital Rome.
