New horizons in gastronomy: Mein Schiff Flow unveils its culinary highlights

Tim Raue at FUGU by Tim Raue on the Mein Schiff Flow

With the ceremonial launching of Mein Schiff Flow in June, the second ship in the InTUItion class of TUI Cruises has officially entered service. The ship’s culinary concept combines new restaurant ideas of the InTUItion class with much-loved Mein Schiff classics as well as new dining experiences in the exclusive X areas for suite guests. The centrepiece of the overall culinary concept is FUGU by Tim Raue – a restaurant that combines Asian fine dining with digital experiences. In total, the culinary offer on board comprises 14 restaurants and bistros as well as 17 bars and lounges.

FUGU by Tim Raue combines fine dining with digital storytelling

Mein Schiff Flow is setting new standards in cruise dining with FUGU by Tim Raue. The exclusive restaurant marries the flavours of Singapore with the signature style of Michelin-starred chef Tim Raue and an immersive digital dining concept. Guests are served a five-course menu accompanied by carefully selected wine pairing. A digital experience guides guests through the evening, bringing together culinary artistry and storytelling. “Singapore’s cuisine fascinates me with its fusion of different cultures and influences. We wanted to make this diversity tangible at FUGU. Together with the digital experience, it creates a restaurant concept that goes far beyond a classic dinner,” says Tim Raue.

Culinary diversity from Mediterranean to Scandinavian

Alongside FUGU, international cuisine defines the culinary offer on board Mein Schiff Flow. New additions to the InTUItion class – comprising Mein Schiff Relax and Mein Schiff Flow – include the French Sur Mer Bistrot and the Greek Taverna Dionysos. They complement established restaurant concepts across the Mein Schiff fleet such as the Atlantik Restaurant, Harbour Market with its international buffet stations, and Osteria – Pasta e Pizza.

The speciality restaurants include Høfde, inspired by Scandinavian cuisine and offering fish and meat specialities, as well as Chalet – Restaurant & Bar, which serves modern Alpine cuisine. The Street Art Bar rounds off the range of culinary offers with sushi creations and signature dishes by Tim Raue.

Bars complete the culinary concept

A total of 17 bars and lounges enhance the culinary experience on board Mein Schiff Flow. Each bar has its own distinctive focus – from speciality coffees at the Barista Bar to cocktails with ocean views at the Captain’s Bar.

Exclusive culinary moments for suite guests

With the X-Lounge, X-Bar and the new X-View, Mein Schiff Flow offers an exclusive dining area for guests staying in junior suites and suites. During the day, guests can enjoy buffets and snacks here, while in the evening the X-View opens as a speciality restaurant for all guests.

Champagne premiere in the X areas

The X areas on Mein Schiff Relax and Mein Schiff Flow also feature a new champagne selection. For the first time, the house champagne of Hapag-Lloyd Cruises, known from the EUROPA 2, will be served in these exclusive areas. With Mandois Blanc and Mandois Rosé, TUI Cruises is expanding its existing selection with two exclusive cuvées. “We are continuously developing our range of culinary offers and wish to create new moments of indulgence for our guests. Mandois allows us to expand our champagne selection with two exceptional cuvées that perfectly complement our culinary concept in the X areas,” says Markus Zschiesche, Head of Food & Beverage at TUI Cruises.
