Hamburg, 21 April 2026. With the ceremonial launch of Mein Schiff Flow in Trieste on 20 June 2026, TUI Cruises will be commissioning the second ship in its InTUItion class. After the feel-good ship completes its first cruises in the sunny Mediterranean, it will set course for Hamburg in October and spend the winter months sailing in northern Europe.
With bookings for the new 2026/27 winter routes starting in late April, TUI Cruises is providing targeted impetus for sales. A combined initiative of additional commission, sales incentives and high-impact marketing support is intended to encourage travel agency partners to promote the new routes at an early stage and further boost demand for winter cruises.
For all FIT bookings made by 31 May 2026, sales partners will receive an additional commission of two per cent. This applies to all new bookings of the new Mein Schiff Flow routes in winter 26/27 – in particular, to all cruises that have been rerouted as part of the itinerary adjustment.
At the same time, TUI Cruises is offering additional sales incentives. For every booking of the new winter cruises, travel agents collect tickets, giving them the chance to win exclusive prizes – including a ship model signed by feel-good ambassador Robbie Williams and two cruises in a balcony cabin on board Mein Schiff Flow. “With this initiative, we are deliberately kicking off the booking cycle early and creating additional momentum for our sales partners,” says Sandra Pfützenreuter, Head of Sales DACH and Trade Marketing at Mein Schiff. “Our aim is to successfully market the Mein Schiff Flow cruises in a joint initiative.”
The sales campaign is supported by extensive marketing measures. These include nationwide campaigns as part of the communication on the ship’s ceremonial launch – including on TV and the out-of-home domain – as well as targeted activities at the point of sale. Travel agencies will also benefit from shop window displays, a large-scale B2B2C mailing and, for the first time, regionally targeted out-of-home advertising as “local Mein Schiff experts”. Appropriate templates are available on Infonet and via the partner ViralSpoon (for social media).
With Mein Schiff Flow, TUI Cruises is responding to growing demand for a diverse range of winter experiences – from nature-oriented cruises in the north to classic sunny destinations and compact short breaks. Guests can benefit from attractive early-booking discounts for bookings made by 31 May 2026. All guests affected by the Mein Schiff Flow cancellation will also receive a discount on selected routes in winter 26/27.
“We have deliberately chosen regions that fit well with our product and the InTUItion class. The Nordic region stands for immersive nature experiences, wide open spaces and tranquillity – something many guests are actively seeking,” says Clas Eckholt, Vice President Commercial at TUI Cruises. “Our aim is not to replace something, but to offer cruises that are attractive in their own right.”
Find out what considerations lie behind the route adjustments, why cruises in the Nordic region are gaining in importance and what lies behind the concept of the InTUItion class and the ship’s ceremonial launch. The full interview can be found here.
