Hamburg, 25 August 2026. In March 2027, Flow meets Groove and Pop. The partnership between the ELBJAZZ Festival and Mein Schiff is entering its next phase on the Mein Schiff Flow. A curated line-up of renowned artists will provide atmospheric jazz, soul and groove sounds in the Mediterranean. Immediately afterwards, it’s time for Take a Chance at Sea on the Tribute to ABBA cruise.

Getting into the groove on the Mein Schiff Flow

Headliner Nils Landgren Funk Unit, is one of Europe’s most successful and influential jazz musicians. He was awarded the German Jazz Prize for his album Paint It Blue. Landgren’s motto is: “Music knows no boundaries – music is freedom”. Guests can experience precisely this sense of freedom and musical diversity on the seven-day themed cruise with Mein Schiff Flow from 8 to 15 March 2027 or from 9 to 16 March 2027. China Moses, an outstanding voice on the international R & B and soul scene, will also take to the stage. With her multifaceted interpretations and powerful stage presence, she creates special musical moments on board. Viktoria Tolstoy and Jacob Karlzon invite listeners to embark on a journey filled with soulful sounds and musical depth. As a long-standing musical duo, they captivate audiences with their finely tuned chemistry and songs that tell personal stories and touch the hearts of listeners. From Palma de Mallorca, Mein Schiff Flow will head for Civitavecchia, the port just outside Rome. The cruise continues to Marseille, where French savoir vivre meets maritime heritage. Barcelona, the next stop, offers a vibrant cultural scene and Mediterranean charm. The cruise through some of the most popular destinations in the western Mediterranean comes to an end in Palma.

Nostalgia and a disco atmosphere on the Mein Schiff Flow

With over 400 million records sold, the pop group ABBA is one of the world’s most successful bands. Their extraordinary charisma and the sheer number of hits they produced in such a short space of time secured the quartet a lasting place amongst the greatest in pop history. On board, the cover band ONE NIGHT IN SWEDEN by Nobel Composition will be bringing the iconic band’s songs back to the stage.

As well as the performances, author Jörg Hinz will also be on board, delighting the audience with fascinating stories about the band and their songs. As a music expert, he puts historical events into context, provides background information on extraordinary careers and brings back memories with historical documents.

The supporting programme is rounded off with a themed pub quiz. True to the motto ‘The Winner Takes It All’, ABBA fans can once again really put their knowledge to the test.

The seven-day cruise, running from 15 to 22 March 2027, departs from Palma de Mallorca and follows the Spanish coast to Cádiz. The Mein Schiff Flow will then call at the port of Tangier (Morocco) before heading for another coastal town in Spain. After its stop in Málaga the ship will set sail for Palma de Mallorca once more.
