On 9 April 2025, Mein Schiff Relax, the first new-build of the innovative InTUItion ship class, will be named at an exclusive event in Malaga. With the Andalusian coastal city as a backdrop, the feel-good fleet of TUI Cruises will be unveiled at what promises to be a spectacular naming event, featuring a very special performance by Robbie Williams.

For the first time in the history of the Mein Schiff fleet, two sister ships - Mein Schiff 5 and Mein Schiff 7 - will accompany the new-build as godmothers. Guests on all three ships will have the unique opportunity to experience this special moment together.

Robbie Williams, international superstar and feel-good-ambassador of Mein Schiff Relax, will celebrate with TUI Cruises and their 15000 guests with an exclusive open-air concert at the naming ceremony. For the guests of the naming cruises, the Robbie Williams concert and the naming ceremony are already included in the cruise price. Mein Schiff Relax, the first ship in the innovative InTUItion class, promises to take the unmistakable Mein Schiff feeling to a new level and it’s this concept which convinced the international artist to become an ambassador for it.

Magic and spectacle: the festive naming ceremony

As part of a magical production, the traditional champagne bottle will break on the bow - an impressive moment, accompanied by a light and stage show that emphasizes the elegance of the new ship.

Infinite moments - the naming cruises of the three ships

Guests on the naming cruises of Mein Schiff 5, Mein Schiff 7 and Mein Schiff Relax can look forward to very special moments under the theme ‘Infinite Moments’. Up until the ceremony itself, guests on Mein Schiff 5 and Mein Schiff 7 will experience a wonderful time full of special indulgence, well-being and entertainment experiences. After the launch in Palma and the naming event in Málaga, guests on Mein Schiff Relax can explore all the innovative new features and create very personal memories. Guests on Mein Schiff 5 and Mein Schiff 7 will also have the opportunity to experience Mein Schiff Relax on their respective ships, with culinary innovations from the Relax also being served on these two ships. And, of course, all guests on the three ships will be able to enjoy the traditional naming dinner and cocktail.

Mein Schiff Relax will offer guests an even more varied culinary journey through particularly high-quality worlds of pleasure, such as Fugu, the new exclusive Asian restaurant with a digital experience concept by Berlin star chef Tim Raue. TUI Cruises is also responding even more intensively to the individual needs of cruise travelers in the cabins and suites in order to create an incomparable holiday experience. For example, Mein Schiff Relax offers single cabins with balconies for single travelers for the first time. SPA and wellness are redefined on the new-build, with offerings such as an exclusive barrel sauna with a marvelous sea view.

Three ships and one naming ceremony

Mein Schiff 5 starts its cruise in Tenerife, heads for Madeira and Lisbon and sets course for Málaga on 9 April to give its guests the opportunity to experience this special moment. Mein Schiff 7 begins its journey in Gran Canaria, moors in Fuerteventura the next day and also calls at Málaga on 9 April to witness this unique experience. The two naming voyages of Mein Schiff Relax begin and end in Palma de Mallorca and travel via the Spanish harbour city of Málaga to Tangier and Gibraltar.
